The 28th Seminar Cycle on Development Studies will take place at ISEG from February through to May, 2020.
This cycle will host specialists from all over the world to debate the theme of Development. Each topic under debate is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030.
The first seminar of this year’s Cycle will be held on the 27th of February, entitled“Political Turbulence on Safety Nets: The Metamorphosis of Political Discourse in 20 Years of Minimum Income“. The keynote speaker will be Professor José António Pereirinha (ISEG), a specialist in the Welfare Economy, who will address the metamorphoses of political debate over the last 20 years, in relation to the minimum salary in Portugal.
The event will start at 18.00, in Lecture Room 1 (Quelhas, 4th Floor).
