Seminar | The Role of Internal Auditing in the Sustainability of Organisations

17 May from 17:30 to 18:30
Auditório 2 & Online

The topic of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) has become increasingly relevant in organisations as a result of the emerging expectations of clients and other market agents.

Companies’ sustainability leads to the emergence of challenges for the Internal Audit Function, some of which are derived from the pandemic itself, which has highlighted the need for organisations to implement crisis management processes.

Companies have been subject to exponential digital development which has dramatically accelerated their digital transformation and has forced them to implement increasingly robust measures and define new review procedures, as well as the adoption of a risk management culture to combat risks resulting from climate change and also an active contribution towards the growth of the sustainability of the business model and the resilience of Financial Institutions.

Come and join us for this seminar to reflect on and debate this series of topics, in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Internal Auditing.

This seminar will take place on the 17th of May, at 17.30, in Auditorium 2 (with live streaming).
