The Sustentar Project – the Multidimensional and Inclusive Development Platform of ISEG – has the pleasure to invite you to the presentation of the first artistic version of the homepage of the 'A Necessary Practice' project and to an integrated workshop on Information and Development, in response to the United nations resolution A/RES/3038 (XXVII), of the 24th of October, 2014 – World Development Day, from 19:00 to 21:00, in the Salão Nobre of ISEG.
The closing ceremony will include a rendering of Bach by the cellist Nuno Abreu.

According to the United Nations, I/T technologies and Communication have the potential to provide new solutions for the challenges of development, reinforcing how economic growth can be promoted, as well as competiveness, the access to information, knowledge, social inclusion and the eradication of poverty.
The World Day of Information aims to call the public's attention to the problems of development, as well as the necessity to strengthen international cooperation to resolve this.
