Workshop | "Caring for the Aged: families, public policies, social dialogue and business practices for work-life balance"
Action on 'Gender Impacts for Health and Policies for Prolonging Working Life Expectancy' (
http://genderewl.com ) aims to contribute to greater scientific knowledge about the differential impacts of gender on the health and economic well-being of older workers as a result of working life extension. It also intends to contribute with evidence that can support the definition of future policies in this field which explicitly take into account the different needs of women and men.
The Action brings together representatives of 26 COST countries and three partner countries – Canada, New Zealand and the USAa nd members of
CESIS – Centre for Social Intervention Studies (Heloísa Perista and Pedro Perista) and of
ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management (Sara Falcão Casaca and Paula Albuquerque).
As part of this Action, COST will be organising a Workshop at ISEG, on the
26th of October, on 'Caring for the Aged: families, public policies, social dialogue and business practices for work-life balance'.
The workshop will start at
Auditorium 4 (Quelhas New Building).
