A workshop on " How to Integrate Human Rights in Cooperation Projects" will be held on the 6 th May, at ISEG, led by Hemma Tengler, an Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica de Moçambique, Cidade da Beira.
Hemma Tengler has a PhD in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, in Austria, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wales, in Great Britain. She is a specialist in Rural Development and Participative Planning. She has 25 years’ of experience in managing development projects for international cooperation in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in Mozambique, concentrating on de-centralisation and good-governance projects. The Universidade Católica de Moçambique offers an online Masters in HIV&AIDS Management and Dr. Tengler is the coordinator of this programme at the university.
The objective of this workshop is to analyse the importance and application of the "Human Rights based" approach to development projects.
The workshop, which is organised by CESA – Centre for African, Asian, and Latin American Studies, will take place from 09.00 to 17.00, in the Edifer room (Quelhas, 2 nd Floor).
