However, as a reference, they generally take place at the beginning of February each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications from 1st cycle and 2nd cycle students are made online through the FENIX Portal -\u00bb Candidate tab -\u00bb Applications -\u00bb Outgoing Mobility<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-597\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-597\" aria-expanded=\"false\">How many Universities can I choose?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-597\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>You can choose up to 10 Universities\/Colleges in order of preference.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-598\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-598\" aria-expanded=\"false\">What are the criteria to be placed in a vacancy?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-598\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p><strong>1st Cycle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates are selected according to a Ranking prepared for this purpose. The ranking of students is based on the arithmetic average weighted by the credit units (rounded to the nearest hundredths) of the 10 best classifications of the compulsory curricular units (disciplines) completed successfully until the conclusion of the knowledge assessment of the appeal period of the 1st semester of the academic year in which the application is made (if the number of successful curricular units is less than 10, the rest are assigned a classification of 8 values). In case of a tie in the application of the general average criterion, the criterion of the curricular units with the highest classifications will be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2nd Cycle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates are selected according to a Ranking prepared for this purpose. The Ranking is based on the arithmetic average weighted by the credit units (rounded to the nearest hundredths) of the classifications of the curricular units referring to the 1st semester of the 1st curricular year. The curricular units of the 1st curricular year without passing will be assigned a classification of 8 values; in case of a tie in the application of the general average criterion, the criterion of the curricular units with the highest classifications will be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In cases where vacancies are common to the 1st and 2nd cycle of studies, priority is given to 1st cycle students in class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-604\" aria-expanded=\"false\">What is the Learning Agreement?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-604\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>The Study Agreement\/Learning Agreement is a form in which a <strong>study plan proposal<\/strong> (plan that identifies the UC (subjects) to be taken at the foreign university).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a version <em>word<\/em> \"original\" template that is available on our website and continues to be used, however, and for all European Universities that have already subscribed to a digital version, it is advisable to fill in and gather the necessary signatures, digitally through the \"Online Learning Agreement\" (OLA)\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European platform for filling in the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) is available here: <a href=\"https:\/\/learning-agreement.eu\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/learning-agreement.eu\/\">https:\/\/learning-agreement.eu\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \"OLA\" is the simplest and most convenient way to fill in the Learning Agreement online, sign it, receive comments from ISEG and the Host Institution and have an overview of the versions of the document.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-606\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-606\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Is there a deadline for changes to the Learning Agreement?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-606\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Yes. <em>Learning Agreement <\/em>can be changed up to a maximum of 30 days after the start of teaching activities at the Host Institution.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-607\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-607\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Can I give up mobility?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-607\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Once the provisional results of the applications have been announced, if the student who has been placed wishes to withdraw from the place they have been allocated, they can cancel the process free of charge via the Fenix portal within 48 hours of the results being announced. This deadline is set annually by the International Mobility Office (IMO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this deadline, the final results will be published, and any subsequent withdrawals must be submitted via the Fenix portal and incur an administrative fee of the amount set out in the emoluments table.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-608\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-608\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Do I have any penalty if I give up mobility?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-608\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Once the final results have been announced, if the student withdraws and does not go ahead with the mobility programme, they will have to pay an administrative fee of 40 euros to cover the costs of the selection and appointment process. This amount may be revised annually.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-609\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-609\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Should I enrol for the following academic year at ISEG?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-609\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Yes. Students on Bachelor's and Master's programmes must enrol at ISEG by the deadline set each year by the respective secretariats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Undergraduate students must enrol exclusively for the courses in the semester in which they will actually be attending classes at ISEG. In other words, courses in the semester opposite to that of the international mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students on master's programmes must register regularly for the courses on their syllabus for each academic year at ISEG (if applicable).<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-610\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-610\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Do I enroll at ISEG&#039;s UC during the semester I&#039;m abroad?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-610\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Undergraduate students should not enrol for any course at ISEG in the semester in which they are abroad on mobility. In other words, they should only enrol for the courses they intend to attend at ISEG and which are offered in the semester opposite to that of the student's mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master's students must enrol at ISEG regularly and in both semesters.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-611\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-611\" aria-expanded=\"false\">What is the maximum number of ECTS (credits) I can do while travelling?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-611\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>In the semester of mobility, 30 ECTS of enrolment in curricular units are recommended and, in exceptional cases, up to 36 ECTS of enrolment may be accepted, with students' international mobility lasting only one semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The realisation of excess credits not provided for in the study plan approved by ISEG does not entitle the student to request supplementary credits, and may only be mentioned in the diploma supplement as extra-curricular credits.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-612\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-612\" aria-expanded=\"false\">What is the minimum limit of ECTS that I can do in mobility?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-612\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>The minimum limit is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 ECTS for mobilities lasting 3 months (90 days);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 ECTS for 1 semester Erasmus mobilities (between 4 and 6 months);<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-613\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-613\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Do I pay tuition fees at the foreign host institution?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-613\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>No, unless otherwise stated in the Protocol\/Bilateral Agreement signed with the Partner University, i.e. only in duly identified cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the mobility student does not pay tuition fees at the host institution, it is compulsory to pay tuition fees to ISEG, in accordance with the internal tuition fees regulations. Students must pay their tuition fees to ISEG in accordance with the deadlines set each year.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-614\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-614\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Will I receive an Erasmus Mobility Grant?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-614\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Students are not automatically entitled to a mobility grant. They must submit their scholarship application by the deadline set each year by the Mobility Centre of the Rectory of the University of Lisbon. Every effort is made to award at least a minimum amount to each ISEG student covered by the Erasmus+ Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information consult <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/internacional\/en\/scholarships-erasmus\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"359\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-615\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-615\" aria-expanded=\"false\">How are the grades obtained at the foreign University posted?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-615\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>At the end of the study period abroad, the Host Institution must issue and send to the International Mobility Office (IMO) the student's transcript of records, which confirms that they have passed the UCs in the agreed study plan. <strong>The process of converting and posting the final marks for foreign courses will only begin once this official document has been received.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grades obtained by the student at the foreign university will then be analysed and converted to the national grading scale, taking into account the methodology and regulations in force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only credits from curricular units included in the study\/learning agreement approved by the Departmental Coordinator and the International Mobility Office (IMO) will be recognised for equivalence purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credits for any foreign UC not previously approved in a study\/learning agreement are only recognised as extracurricular credits.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-616\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-616\" aria-expanded=\"false\">How is the conversion of classifications obtained abroad to the national scale processed?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-616\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>The conversion of the final marks obtained by the erasmus or exchange student does not follow a fixed scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the publication of the Regulation for Crediting and Curriculum Integration of Professional Experiences and Academic Training of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, Di\u00e1rio da Rep\u00fablica n.\u00ba 175\/2018, Series II of 2018-09-11, Dispatch n.\u00ba 8688\/ 2018, the methodology adopted for converting grades obtained in Foreign Higher Education Institutions within the scope of Mobility Programs was reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find out more and consult ISEG's methodology for converting classifications, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/internacional\/en\/creditacao-e-conversacao\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"357\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n\n    \n        <div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item is-read\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\">\n            <h5 id=\"at-617\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"ac-617\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Can I do without an accreditation I've already obtained?<\/h5>\n            <div id=\"ac-617\" class=\"c-accordion__content\" style=\"display: none;\" hidden=\"hidden\">\n                \n<p>Yes.
