I have an exam on National Defense Day, what should I do?
Citizens can postpone or bring forward the date or change the place of appearance to comply with the DDN by submitting a Postponement Request.
Reason for postponement
- Illness or accident that makes attendance impossible;
 - A family member's illness or accident, when the assistance of the summoned citizen is indispensable;
 - Death of a spouse, ascendant, descendant or sibling, within the five days immediately preceding the date of the call-up to the DDN;
 - Marriage on one of the eleven working days immediately preceding the date of the call;
 - Birth of a child or adoption leave for a minor;
 - Arrest, detention or internment;
 - Taking an exam at an officially recognized educational establishment (being called on the day of the exam or the two days immediately before);
 - Temporary displacement from the habitual residence (e.g. for study purposes);
 - Another reason that constitutes a situation of justifiable impediment for the citizen, considering any event that is normally unforeseeable.
 
How to apply?
You must fill in the Request for postponementand send it to the DDN no later than 5 working days before the scheduled date, by e-mail (with the subject line "POSTPONMENT"), fax or letter, attaching the documents:
- Copy/Scan of Citizen Card or Identity Card;
 - Document/scan proving the reason for the postponement.

Is it necessary to register for the regular and appeal written tests?
No. Enrolling in the course automatically registers you for the regular and appeal periods.
Which exams should I register for?
You must register on the Fenix Portal for the exams or special exams you want by the deadlines.
How many improvement tests can I take?
There is no maximum number of exams to be taken per examination period, but you may only register for one grade improvement per course unit. This must be done in one of the three appeal periods following the period (normal or appeal) in which you passed a course unit.
Do I have to register for the course to improve my grade?
No, only for the improvement exam.
What are the deadlines for requesting a grade improvement?
For each semester, a deadline for improvements.
Where and when can I consult the calendar of assessment periods?
The timetable for the written tests is published on the academic services website. undergraduate office on the tab Calendar of Assessment Seasons.
As a finalist, how many exams can I take and when?
A special period of written tests has been set for final-year students with a maximum of twenty-four ECTS remaining to complete their degree.
When can you register for the special season in the second semester?
Registration must be done at deadline set up for this purpose online at LOGIN " STUDENT " REGISTER " ASSESSMENTS/EXAMINATIONS, Registration costs 15€/UC.
Who has access to the special season in the 2nd semester?
The following students have access to the special period:
Finalists
Students who have a maximum of 24 ECTS credits remaining to complete their degree without taking into account the precedence system have access to the special period.
Association leaders
They have access to a maximum of 8 exams spread over the Special Season in Semester 1 and the Special Season in Semester 2, as long as they have registered for these curricular units in the current academic year.
High competition athletes
They are only eligible if the exam they wish to take coincided with a sporting event in the previous season (proof must be provided).
Working students
They have access to a maximum of 4 special season exams in the 2nd semester. You must register as a student worker at the beginning of the academic year to which the exams you wish to take in this period relate.
Military
Are doing or have done compulsory military service for less than 2 years (maximum of 8 exams).
Students whose religion does not allow them to take the exam on a holy day
They only have the right if the exam for the course they wish to take coincided with the holy day in the previous term (maximum of 8 exams).
Students with physical or sensory disabilities
You can register for a maximum of 8 exams per year.
Maternity or Paternity
The following are covered student mothers and fathers whose children are up to 3 years old, and especially pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding young women, have access to a maximum of 4 exams.
The amount payable per exam is 15 euros.
How many exams can be taken in the special season in the 2nd semester?
Final-year students, up to four exams;
Student workers, up to four exams, as long as they are registered for those curricular units in the academic year;
High-level athletes, up to four exams, as long as they are registered for these curricular units in the academic year.
Is it possible to upgrade grades at a special time?
No, grade improvements are only possible during the appeal periods of each semester.
