What average do you need to get into an ISEG course?
When talking about the average grade a candidate needs to get into a certain course, there are sometimes some misconceptions that need to be cleared up. First of all, it is necessary to distinguish between the minimum application grade and the grade of the last student placed on the same course the previous year:
Minimum application grade:The only grade a candidate has to take into account is the minimum application grade. In the case of ISEG, the minimum score is 95 points (on a scale of 0-200).
Ranking of the last student placed in the previous school year: The grade that potential applicants usually want to know corresponds to the grade of the last student placed on a given course in the previous academic year, since there is no established average at ISEG for entry to each course, apart from the minimum grade. Unlike the minimum mark, the mark of the last student placed in the previous year is not a compulsory minimum mark, it only serves as a reference for applicants.
It should be noted that this ranking can change considerably from year to year, as this figure only shows that in a given year, at a given application stage, the last student to be placed on a given course had a certain average. As the applicants change each year, this figure will also fluctuate. + Information

You can as long as the course is legally equivalent to Portuguese secondary education.

Please note, however, that this will only be valid if the establishment/course pair where the student wishes to enter accepts this substitution and the other required formalities are fulfilled. Don't forget that the exams taken abroad can be used within the same timeframe as the Portuguese national exams.
However, direct contact with the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) to certify that they meet the conditions for admission. The final classification of the secondary education course to be awarded to students whose completion and certification of secondary level does not include this classification, is the one resulting from the classification, or the average of the classifications obtained in the national secondary education exams that constitute entrance exams for the establishment/course pair to which they intend to apply.
Foreign students wishing to come to Portugal to study must authenticate their qualifications certificates with the Portuguese Consulate or Embassy in their country of origin, in order to establish equivalence between the types of education. They should also be informed about the legal process to be followed, as well as any special agreements that may exist between countries regarding the entry of Portuguese educational establishments.
