{"id":186,"date":"2023-01-27T12:34:29","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T12:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/secretaria\/?page_id=186"},"modified":"2024-07-24T14:31:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-24T14:31:48","slug":"special-educational-needs-nee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/secretaria\/en\/special-statutes\/special-educational-needs-nee\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Educational Needs (SEN)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following are covered <strong>Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)<\/strong>within the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/secretaria\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/07\/Decreto-Lei-3-2008.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Decree-Law 3\/2008<\/a> of January 7th. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/secretaria\/en\/aquila\/getFile.do\/?fileId=133105&amp;method=getFile&amp;_request_checksum_=afaa437d948dd32201bb89af118f11c8bb5f720b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><br><\/a><br>The status is obtained from Academic Services on the Fenix portal, preferably at the time of registration, by attaching a medical report proving the disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The benefits consist of:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Possibility, on a case-by-case basis, of adopting the necessary measures to minimize the inconveniences resulting from the incapacity and by superior order;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking exams in the special season for the curricular units you are registered for, up to a maximum of 4 exams for Bachelor's students and 2 exams for Master's students, subject to the fee set per curricular unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is compulsory to register for the special season during the designated period on the F\u00e9nix Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/secretaria\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/07\/Regulamento-do-Estudante-com-Necessidades-Educativas-Especiais-da-ULisboa.pdf\">Regulations for Students with Special Educational Needs at the University of Lisbon<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are covered by Decree-Law 3\/2008 of January 7th.
