This group aims to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the educational curriculum, promoting a multidisciplinary and innovative approach to training students. Economics)<\/div>\n                                                        <\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<div class=\"block-intro-text\">\n\t<div class=\"intro-text\">ISEG is committed to transparency and therefore prepares and publishes reports that present its performance indicators in the various areas. <\/div>\n\t<div class=\"intro-text-anim-left-layer\"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"intro-text-anim-right-layer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>These reports are prepared based on international standards and provide detailed information on ISEG's activities and initiatives in relation to the SDGs, environmental management, social responsibility, governance, and education for sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The reports include medium and long-term goals and objectives, which aim to further improve ISEG's sustainable performance. The disclosure of these reports is important as it allows the entire academic community as well as the other stakeholders to closely monitor ISEG's actions in relation to sustainability and assess the impact of these actions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-30\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><strong>PRME<\/strong><\/h3><div id=\"ac-30\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>The PRME is a United Nations-backed initiative aimed at business schools. It aims to empower tomorrow's decision-makers to build organizations and societies that promote sustainable development. ISEG reports on its work in relation to the 6 Principles for Management Education since 2014, the year it joined the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the reactivation of the Iberian Chapter of PRME in 2021, ISEG joined the Steering Committee, along with other Portuguese and Spanish signatories and is now responsible for the Community Engagement of the PRME Chapter Iberia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"link-learnmore\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unprme.org\/chapter\/prme-chapter-iberia?section=governance\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unprme.org\/chapter\/prme-chapter-iberia?section=governance\" target=\"_blank\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-31\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><strong>Sustainability Report<\/strong><\/h3><div id=\"ac-31\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>ISEG presents its 2023 Sustainability Report. This document represents our commitment to promoting sustainability in all areas of activity and covers the actions and initiatives we have carried out to improve our environmental, social and economic performance. In 2023, we carried out various initiatives to reduce resource consumption, raise awareness of sustainability and the SDGs and promote education and research on the subject. This contribution is focused on the inclusion of the sustainability theme in teaching, research, the daily management of the campus and the relationship with partners and society. This Sustainability Strategy is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and aims to be an inspiration and a guide for action for departments, research centres, partners, other institutions and entities related to ISEG and the members of the ISEG community: students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/sustentabilidade\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/04\/Estrategia-de-Sustentabilidade-2030-PT1.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"122\" class=\"link-learnmore\">Sustainability Strategy<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-33\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><strong>Sustainability Policy<\/strong><\/h3><div id=\"ac-33\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>The sustainability policy expresses a set of ISEG's commitments to the major environmental, social, economic and ethical challenges facing humanity. It should be understood as an institutional commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, comply with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals. It applies to all ISEG activities, including our relationship with our main partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"link-learnmore\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/sustentabilidade\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/04\/2021_03_14_Politica-de-Sustentabilidade.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"121\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sustainability Policy<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-34\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><strong>Sustainable Purchasing Policy<\/strong><\/h3><div id=\"ac-34\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>The Sustainable Procurement Policy is intended to be aligned with the National Strategy for Green Public Procurement (ENCPE 2020), as well as the future directive on the duty of care of companies. The essential purpose of the ENCPE 2020 is to be a complementary instrument to environmental policies, contributing to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The promotion of pollution reduction;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The reduction in the consumption of natural resources; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increasing the efficiency of the systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In turn, the essential purpose of this proposal for a directive is to ensure that respect for human rights and the environment is ensured throughout the entire value chain of organisations, namely through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>integrate due diligence into policies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identify actual or potential adverse environmental impacts and human rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prevent or mitigate potential impacts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>put an end to or minimise the real impacts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>establish and maintain a complaints procedure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitoring the effectiveness of the due diligence policy and measures; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communicating publicly about the due diligence process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-35\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><strong>Internal Documents<\/strong><\/h3><div id=\"ac-35\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>To consult documents from the Sustainability area.
