Data Analysis in Accounting (2 º Sem 2020/2021)

Dear Students,

the assessment process is defined as follows:

1) Normal system

• Empirical project 1 on the 30th March, 10:00-12:30
• Empirical project 2 (continuation of 1) on the 27th April, 10:00-12:30

- Final classification: Empirical project 1 & 2 (50%) + Final test on the 14th June, 9:00h (50%)

- Final examination on the 14th June, 9:00 (100%)

2) Re-sit examination on the 2nd Jully, 9:00

For the Empirical Project, please check if your group is included on the list; see the Aquila section “Empirical Project”.

Dear Students,

at this stage, the following material is available on Aquila:

It is convenient that you print the slides previously to our classes, so that you can take notes. Similarly, please save the datasets in your computer. In fact, if you wish, you can try to open a dataset in STATA (please be sure to have this software installed as soon as possible).

Dear students, 

our classes of Data Analysis in Accounting will start on the 16th February. However, I contact you at this relatively early stage to inform you that our classes will be based on the software Stata.

In order to obtain STATA, you will need to contact the ISEG Computer Services and ask for remote installation. Therefore, as soon as possible, please ask for this installation by sending a ticked to the Computer Services or contacting directly using the email helpdesk@iseg.ulisboa.pt
