Economics I (1 º Sem 2020/2021)

The regular exam is this Monday, 4^th of January, at 9 am, in the following rooms according to your first name:

Afonso             to         Madalena                        room AF21 (F1 building)

Margarida        to         Zoe                                  room AF22 (F1 building)

Please bring a photo ID card, ISEG answer sheets, pens, and a non-graphical calculator. You will not be allowed to use a graphical calculator in any circumstances. See what type of calculators are allowed in “See More” – “Authorised Calculators.”

The exam has a maximum duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes and consists of multiple-choice questions and an open questions and exercises of the type as have appeared in previous years.

The quiz takes place Tuesday, the 17th of November, at 9.10 am (lecture time). It covers all topics up to, and including, taxes.

Make sure to join the class on Teams before 9.10 am. Then at 9.10 am I will post a link to the quiz on the class chat. By clicking on the link you will access the quiz questions. All questions are multiple-choice questions. You get 1 mark for each correct answer and a 0.3 mark deduction for each wrong answer. You get no marks or deductions for unanswered questions.

I will provide more instructions just before we start the quiz. So join the class session on time.

Welcome to Economics I. To those returning, welcome back, and may this be your last time returning; not much has changed from last year. To all freshers, welcome to ISEG and University Life. This is a momentous change in your life, full of exciting novelties. More so than ever before you are asked to take responsibility for your own future: you have it in your own hands. I am here to help you succeed in this unit, and wish you much success.
