As mentioned in class, students that did not do the mid-term exam will not be able to do the final exam in normal period. They will only be able to do the final exam of the resort period ("epoca de recursos").

Dear Student:

As mentioned in class last Tuesday, the lecture of next Tuesday will be substituted by a presentation that I (and other colleagues in Iseg) will make in a seminar on the Portuguese economy at 10:00 at the Salao Nobre in the Quelhas building. Unfortunately, the various presenters will be speaking in Portuguese. My slides will be in English and I am still discussing with the organizers whether my presentation can be made in English. Your presence is NOT compulsory -- specially since there is uncertainty as to whether I can speak in English in that seminar given the Portuguese audience attending. So, feel free to come or not, as you prefer.
