Final grades already include a participation bonus (nice rounding up) for most participative students.

=> Congratulations to the winners of the simulation game -the HathshireBerkaway. This year we had an enlarged podium: 1 group in 1st place, 1 group in 2nd place, but  2 groups in 3rd place and 2 groups on 4th place. Some portfolios were excluded from the game for not obeying some of the rules (in most cases the maximum of cash allowed).

=> Congratulations also to the group selected by the Rodrigues Family - Group 11. I was not that impressed, but the clients were. 

=> Some students (a hand full of them) got higher than usual grades at the exam. Fantastic, I am very proud! Whenever continuous evalutation would harm you, I did not consider it.

For those of you that did not come to the first exam or did not approve yet at IPM (yet), keep calm and study for the retake examinations. 

The re-take/second seating exams apply only for students that did not passed the course on the normal/ first seating season. All grade improvement examinations are postponed to the September, according to ISEG’s rules. Normal/ first seatig season grades can be expected early next week.

The re-take / second seating exams of IPM will take place, as originally scheduled, in February. If things did not go well on the first season, keep studying and preparing and do not worry too much about the logistics. In the end what matters is how much you know (nothing else), and it is my job to assess that.

Due to the current situation, re-take/ second seating exams cannot take place at ISEG.

From a logistical point of view, for IPM, the only change is that you just need to connect to MS Teams, as it has happened during the semester every second week, when you were not allowed in campus.

Concretely, there will be a written exam on February 5^th 2021 at 9am, with hand-written answers, just as if you were at ISEG, except it is online surveilled (via MSTeams) and you will need to download the questions from, and upload the answers to, AQUILA.

Besides that, and according to ISEG’s rules, IPM oral examinations (that may apply only to some or to all students) will take place on February 12^th 2021, via MSTeams.

Both surveillance of the written exam and oral examinations will be recorded.

This Thursday January 28th at 14h30 there will be "special IPM tutorial" in MSTeams about the retake / 2nd seating exam.  Please show up as in the exam day (cameras must be on all the time) and we will practice download of questions from, and upload of hand-written answers, to Aquila. See you there! 

I remind that only students enrolled in continuous evaluation (CE) can attend the first seating exam.

CE Students were split into:

• Odd numbers => Anf.3, F1
• Even numbers => Anf.4, F1

All studenst should be at the assigned room at least 15 minutes in advance and bring with them:

• ID with photo
• Writting material (pens) and calculator
• At least two answering exam sheets

No other material is allowed. The formulas sheet is distributed with the exam, as well as scrap paper.

Do not forget to rest today, so you are fit for the exam tomorrow morning!
