Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructurings (2 º Sem 2019/2020)

Dear students,

Good afternoon.

We are sending you this text with the procedures for the MAR exam of June, 19th.

1.       Time to connect.

You must be sure everything is working normally with your computer and internet before the exam starts. The exam starts at 09:00. So, arrive to your class on TEAMS before that time. Make sure that by 08:50 everything is working properly.

2.       Virtual classroom

As you understand from previous statement, you will be doing the exam in the TEAMS class that you belong, S12 or S42.

3.       Duration

The exam duration is 50 minutes. So, it ends by 9:50

4.       Multiple choice questions

Multiple-choice questions account for 14 points.

Each correct answer accounts 1 point. Each wrong answer discounts 0.2 points

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not want to answer to a question you should select the option “I do not want to answer”.

5.       Valuation Exercise

There will be one valuation exercise on the exam that accounts for 6 points.

You should give all the answers on FORMS.

Nevertheless, if you solve the case in an Excel you may send it to both professors (João and Telmo) when you finish the exam, to the email addresses below. Please note that this is not mandatory. It is an option that you may use if you consider so.

6.       Individual test

Test is individual and you should do it in your own without any support from third person(s).

You are invited to have camera on and speaker on while making the test.

Professors will be monitoring you at each class.
