Real Options (2 º Sem 2019/2020)

Dear Students, 

The exam of Real Options is scheduled for Friday June 5th at 09:00. Here are the instructions you should follow:

1. Prepare in advance, before the exam:

a.    Keep with you 5 white A4 sheets of paper.

b.    On top of each page, CLEARLY WRITE your FULL NAME and STUDENT NUMBER.

c.    Number the Pages, at the bottom of each page (from Page 1 to Page 10).

d.    Have your ID card/Passport ready in case it is requested.

e.    Have a calculator with you.

f.     Keep several pens with you.

g.    You are allowed to use one sheet of paper with notes for consultation. 

2. During the Exam

a.    Join the Exam session in MS Teams, Team RO S12 (TP) before 09:00.

b.    Wait for Prof Clara Raposo to confirm your presence.

c.    Keep the camera and microfone of your computer on (if not, justify why by sending an email to: ethicsinfinance@gmail.com), even if with low volume.

d.    Listen carefully to the instructions given by your invigilator.

e.    Login to Aquila when you are told to do so.

f.     On the Left Hand side menu, select “Assignments” (“Trabalhos” if in PT).

g.    Select the assignment of Real Options called “Exam Epoca Normal”.

h.    Download the file with the questions.

i.     When you are told to start, you can start answering the questions.

j.     You will have 75 minutes to complete the exam.

k.    When you complete the exam, digitalize your solutions (by scanning the solutions, using a printer, or taking photos).

l.     Once you have your exam digitalized, go to Aquila and Submit the file (if you have more than one file, submit each file sequentially.

m.  In the end, Prof. Clara Raposo will let you know if she got your file(s).

n.    The end.

Dear Students,

I am scheduling a session via MS Teams to practice with you the best procedure for the Real Options Exam.

This session - take it easy, don't be nervous!, all is under control - will be held on Monday May 25th at 11:00. By 11:30 we should all be free. Just to make sure that we all understand the procedures, ok?

All you need to have with you is an A4 sheet of white paper, a pen, and your computer, ideally with a camera. 

We will need to use MS Teams and also access to e-mail and to Aquila.
