Objectives

People, processes and technologies are key elements of organizations. Information Systems / Information technology (IS / IT) support and address contemporary issues in human resources area. The IS / IT should help the recruitment and selection, internal communication, training, employees recognition, evaluation of HR performance, allowing research, structuring and aggregation of data relevant to these activities as well as the calculation of satisfaction indicators and performance evaluation, in alignment with business areas. The CU explains the importance of organizational processes and the use of recent technical processes modeling. It also illustrates some tools to support decisions in HR.
It is also explained how to create collaborative environments in the organization, like a social network. Some HRM solutions are presented by suppliers well referenced in the market.
