World Business Environment (1 º Sem 2020/2021)

the grades of the re-sit period have now been posted in Aquila.

If you would like to review your exam, you can do so via Teams on Wednesday February 10th between 10-11am. To do so, you need to send me an e-mail by 3pm on Tuesday to schedule a specific time slot.

Dear students,

The re-sit exam will take place in the date and time previously scheduled, using MS Forms and Teams. The exam will be distributed in the chat of the dedicated ER Team for the course. Consultation is not permitted. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. You will need to turn your camera on. The written exam may be complemented with an oral exam in the week starting in February 8. If this is the case, you will be informed of the decision when the grades of the written exam are published in Aquila.

To avoid difficulties with internet access, students should take the following precautions before the start of the exam:

1.     Check which is your "default" browser. 

2.     For this "default" browser, check whether you have logged on to any account other than your ISEG school account. If you have, then LOG OUT OF THIS ACCOUNT! If you access the exam via an account other than your own dedicated school account, your exam WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 

3.     Access http://portal.office.com and log on to your ISEG school account. After logging on, maintain the browser open, as this will make the process much quicker and easier. 

4.     The acceptable browsers are: 

o   Microsoft Edge Chromium 

o   Google Chrome 

o   Mozilla Firefox ​​​​​​​

The use of any other browser can result in incompatibility problems and accordingly make it difficult to access your exam. In particular, Safari has various incompatibility problems.

Dear students,

The exam of World Business Environment will be composed of 3 open-ended questions focusing on topics covered by the slides I have presented during the 6 sessions. You are also encouraged to read the papers in the reading list for each session, although they are not strictly necessary for successful completion of the exam.

You will have 1 page for answering each question. Individual questions may require establishing a link between topics covered in different sessions. The duration of the exam will be 1h30m.

Logistics: Students whose first name begins with the letters from A to I should take the exam in Auditorio 4 (Quelhas 6 Building). Students whose first name begins with the letters from J to Z should take the exam in Auditorio 5 of the same building.
