- Introduction: overview of the problem of project evaluation in the context of the allocation of resources. The project as a strategic tool;
- Project evaluation methodology; project cycle, feasibility studies, analytical perspectives;
- Criteria for calculating capital cost;
- Evaluation criteria: methodologies for determining cash flow, application methods for IRR, MIRR, VAL, GO, PRI. Incomplete alternatives. Specific evaluation circumstances. Rationing of financial resources;
- Non-deterministic evaluation: uncertainty and risk, sensitivity analyses, options;
- Programming, implementation and management of an investment project. Design of a technically perfect spreadsheet and its application to specific cases.
