Program
By the end of the course students will be able to do the following in Spanish:
- To master with autonomy the use of necessary vocabulary used for introducing oneself and establish contact with someone;
- To describe situations, locations and people (physical characteristics, as well as feelings) in a syntactic form;
- To use expressions for descriptions of likes and dislikes;
- To use and express current and various situations related to related to everyday life, (business, studies, public administration, professional);
- To ask and answer questions regarding information about familiar situations (present, future and past);
- To understand and acquire listening skills for conversations about topics abovementioned;
- To assimilate and show improvements with being conscience about the language and implement self-correction when common errors occur in Spanish.
- To read and understand simple and easy texts about daily life, as well as likes and dislikes and preferences
- To write brief texts regarding daily life and routines without interference from mother-tongue language
- To consolidate listening skills by listening to short extracts, dialogues and short pieces of conversation.
