Information Technology (1 º Sem 2020/2021)

Dear students,

Following the decisions of the Pedagogical Council, we will carry out the Second exams following an online model .

Until the end of the morning of the exam day (February 2nd), students registered for the second exam will receive an email in their institutional ISEG account (xxx@aln.iseg.ulisboa.pt) with the link to access the exam virtual room.

About 15 minutes before 6 pm, the exam virtual room will be opened and students must access the link, staying in the lobby waiting for access authorization. Once allowed to enter, they will have to remain with the cameras on during the entire exam.

Before the exam is due to take place , and to avoid difficulties in accessing it, students should take the following precautions:

1. Check your " default " browser

2.  In that " default " browser , check if you have any authentication done with an account other than your institutional ISEG account. If you have it, LOG OUT OF THAT ACCOUNT! If you access the exam with an account other than your own, testing WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

3.  Go to http://portal.office.com and login with the institutional account. Keep the browser opened with the login, which will make the whole process more fluid.

4.  Supported browsers are:

o  Microsoft Edge Chromium

o  Google Chrom

o  Mozilla Firefox

Any other browser can cause incompatibilities, making access to the exam more difficult. In particular, Safari has shown several incompatibility problems.

Please be warned that, after this exam, there will be ORAL assessments, in order to assure the best reliability of the on-line evaluation process. For these oral assessments, students will be individually invited.

Finally, we inform you that Exams to improve grades will NOT be held in the current Second Exam.
