Interlibrary Loan (EIB) allows access to works that are not in the Francisco Pereira de Moura Library's collection, at the request of users, through co-operation with other national or international libraries.
The service exclusively covers the loan of books for home consultation, in accordance with the conditions defined by the supplying library.
Who can apply
ISEG's internal users (students, teachers, researchers and staff), duly registered with the Library, can use the EIB service.
Requests from external users are subject to analysis and authorisation.
Procedure
The request must be made using the form available online
or by e-mail to biblioteca@iseg.ulisboa.pt.
Works received under the EIB are requested, collected and returned at the library's service desks.
Deadlines
Loan deadlines are set by the supplying library and must be strictly adhered to.
Costs
The Interlibrary Loan service is free of charge for requests made to libraries with which ISEG has an active cooperation agreement.
In other cases, there may be associated costs, defined by the lending library, and the user is informed in advance before the request is confirmed.
