Master's in International Development and Cooperation (MDCI)
Get ready to change the world. We challenge you to reflect, discuss and seek solutions to find possible paths towards more sustainable development.
The MDCI is a complement to the skills acquired in the first cycle in the areas of Economics, Management, Sociology or International Relations. It prepares students to be leaders, managers and senior technicians in organisations linked to international cooperation, in public institutions or private companies.
Master's in Design for Sustainability
The Master's in Design for Sustainability offers postgraduate training focussed on sustainable development, integrating environmental, social and economic sciences. The course promotes reflection on sustainability issues and the development of real projects in collaboration with public and private organisations. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, it prepares students to create innovative and sustainable solutions at local, regional and global level.
This programme is a collaboration between ISEG and the Faculty of Fine Arts, combining their expertise to offer unique training.
Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability Management
The Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability Management provides professionals with the knowledge and practical tools to create and implement sustainable strategies in organisations. Meeting the growing needs of companies and public entities, the programme addresses the integration of ecological, social and economic practices, in line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Throughout the course, students take part in case studies and workshops that promote sustainable innovation and community engagement. The best student receives a prize awarded by EDP, highlighting excellence and leadership potential in sustainability.
Sustainable Finance: Green and Climate Finance
The Executive Course on Sustainable Finance counts with the contribution of national and international experts on various topics such as biodiversity, energy and carbon, circular economy, green financial products, regulation, ESG risks, among many others.
The first edition had the institutional support of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action. A key partner, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation provided 4 grants, and recognises that sustainable funding can play a pivotal role in the organisation.
Sustainability: A Corporate Journey
Broadening the vision of the role of companies in society and stimulating reflection on the challenges facing us today are the fundamental objectives of the programme developed in collaboration with ISEG Executive Education, GRACE and Sair da Casca.
This programme aims to ensure business sustainability by integrating sustainable management practices and promoting a positive impact on communities and the environment.
ESG Corporate and Non-Financial Reporting
In this programme, participants will have the opportunity to develop their ability to carry out Corporate Reporting in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD).
The course offers a detailed framework of these guidelines and their practical application in the business and market context. Methodologies for the effective implementation of reporting processes will be explored, with the aim of improving the efficiency and quality of the information reported. The aim is to train professionals so that they can carry out reporting in a more robust way and in line with the best sustainability and corporate transparency practices.
PhD in Sustainable Sciences
The PhD in Sustainable Sciences centres on understanding and discussing innovative topics with a strong sustainability orientation, with the ambition of contributing answers to global challenges. This programme focuses on the dimensions of food production and consumption as the main drivers of sustainability challenges.
This doctorate has the potential to contribute to the personal growth of our students and to train new leaders capable of leading with greater objectives, taking environmental, social and ethical issues into account when making decisions.
Online Course - Ecosystem Services, Business and Finance
ISEG created and made available a 30-hour online course on "Ecosystem Services, Business and Finance". The course was financially supported by the Environmental Fund of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action.
This course provides information on how businesses and countries influence and depend on ecosystem services and how nature is related to a country's GDP.
