Students
Our school currently has around 5,400 students with over 40 different nationalities. Students are the foundation of any educational establishment and, as such, it is important to ensure they find themselves in a positive and productive school environment, one where the social and cultural aspects of university life are valued. ISEG has various associations that exist to enrich school life, promote its culture, and build relationships between its many different individuals and groups.

ISEG JUNIOR BUSINESS CONSULTING - ISEG JBC
ISEG Junior Business Consulting is a not-for-profit organisation which is totally composed of and run by university students.
The JBC carries out varied contract-based projects for companies, creating a link between the academic and business worlds, and maximising the potential to 'learn by doing'. In other words, JBC students are putting the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom into practice.
JBC students gain practical experience in management, leadership, and professional work. They are put in the position of having to execute a project from the initial planning and analysis stage through to its finish and final conclusions.

AIESEC
AIESEC is an international student association run by students. It is over 60 years old and is active in 113 countries. Its goal is to provide young people with the opportunity for internationalisation and for personal and professional development through experiences ranging from operational work to top management, including professional internships.
AEISEC members begin by joining the department that is most aligned with their own goals (Human Resources, Finance, Communication and Marketing, Business Relations or International Relations). After gaining organisational experience and knowledge, they can progress to the managerial levels of those departments and of the organisation itself, on a local level.
With further experience, they might progress to national or international leadership roles. At managerial level, students participate in defining the strategic direction that AIESEC will take, designing projects to meet its objectives. They will need to manage and motivate their teams, be responsible for their own professional development and that of their team, ensuring projects are completed and goals are met. AIESEC in return offers ongoing training opportunities in various fields.
Upon graduation, students can participate in the International Internship programme, furthering their experience with the added challenge of immersion in new cultures and ways of working.
