Bloomberg is one of the most comprehensive and recognised financial databases in the world, available for consultation in person at ISEG. Through the Bloomberg Terminal, users have access to real-time information on financial markets, companies, economic indicators, news, analyses, graphs and advanced decision support tools.
ISEG offers the largest Bloomberg Laboratory of the Iberian Peninsula, with 21 state-of-the-art terminals installed on Floor 2 of the Quelhas Building.

- Working days: 08h00 - 23h30
- Saturdays: 08h00 - 13h30
- Sundays and public holidays: Closed
In addition to the main laboratory, students can also access 3 Bloomberg Terminals in the Computer room (Francesinhas 2), expanding the opportunities for using the platform.

Bloomberg certifications
Bloomberg offers online courses with certification, designed to strengthen skills in the financial area and enhance students' academic and professional profiles. These courses are interactive, self-explanatory and flexible in pace, allowing you to deepen your knowledge in the following areas:
- Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals (BFF): Introduction to the key concepts of finance and investment.
- Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC): Overview of the financial markets and the principles that guide them.
- ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance: Fundamentals of sustainable investment and ESG reporting practices.
- Bloomberg Spreadsheet Analysis: Application of Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) in Excel to analyse financial data.
Each course offers a certificate of completion, which can be included in the CV, LinkedIn or professional application.
