The LSEG Workspace is a financial markets and research platform developed by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). It provides access to a wide range of reliable financial data, market news, analytical tools, company information, economic indicators, ESG (environmental, social and governance) data, bonds, foreign exchange markets, stocks and funds, as well as advanced research and asset selection tools.
The platform was designed to support academic research, teaching, and learning, providing users with access to real-time and historical financial information used by financial sector professionals worldwide.
Main features:
- Real-time and historical market data;
- Financial information of companies and estimates;
- Economic and macroeconomic data;
- News and market information from reference sources;
- Research tools, selection and analysis of stocks, funds, fixed-income instruments and foreign exchange markets;
- ESG and sustainability data;
- Data visualization tools and the creation of charts;
- Integration with Microsoft Excel for advanced analysis.
Licenses available at ISEG
Currently, ISEG has 50 LSEG Workspace for Students licenses.
Who can have access?
Access is available to eligible members of the ISEG academic community, including faculty, researchers, and students, subject to the availability of licenses and the access policy defined by the institution.
How to request access?
Eligible users should contact the ISEG Library to request a license.
The licenses will be assigned and managed by the Library, in accordance with the internal procedures of ISEG and the existing availability.
On-site access
Access is in person and via a computer located in the Library Ground Floor, by prior reservation.
