Scenarios and Strategic Foresight (2 º Sem 2020/2021)

Dear futurists,

For unexpected reasons (see why Scenario Planning is important?), our guest speaker on the tobacco industry won´t be available next Thursday (April 8th). We´ll have to move his presentation to April 15th. This means that some adjustments are needed, as follows:

a) Working Group 2 will present the Tobacco Sc Plan Case on April 27th.

b) Apart from this switch, the remaining schedule is not expected to change.

c) Our next class (Thursday, April 8th) will be dedicated to support your final works. So, prepare your doubts.

Javier Baigorri will, as from now, integrate Group 2. This is due to the fact that there's been a drop off in G2. G2 remains with 4 members, as G3 (and the two remaining ones).

Javier: contact asap your new group members.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's the best way to proceed in order to keep the groups even.

I've just inserted in the Aquila platform an array of relevant contents about our course, namely:

(1) Work schedule for both (i) short cases and (ii) final cases

(2) Slides on Fundamental Concepts

(3) Slides on Scenario Planning (to be presented tomorrow)

(4) Classic examples of Scenario Planning - some of the best references in terms of accuracy and tightness to the reference scenario building approach

Other cases and materials will be provided as classes go by.
