Frederico Toulson, 1st year MAEG student, won a silver medal at the Ibero-American Mathematical Olympiad held in Costa Rica from September 26 to October 1. The Portuguese team won two silver medals, one bronze and one honorable mention.
Frederico Toulson had already won five medals and one honorable mention in national and international mathematical olympiads.
For the MAEG degree, this is the second year in a row that a 1st year student has won a silver medal at the Ibero-American Mathematical Olympiad.
