Frederico Toulson and Ricardo Moreira, MAEG undergraduate students, have been selected for the 2011 New Talents in Mathematics program, set up by the Gulbenkian Foundation.
Every year, this program honors university students who demonstrate high academic merit. Each contestant selected by the program is mentored for the duration of the scholarship by a PhD in Mathematics who acts as a tutor.
In previous editions of the program, three MAEG students had already been honored: Pedro Silvério Gonçalves (2004/2005), Cláudia Duarte (2005/2006) and Ricardo Moreira (2010/2011).
