Dear Students, Teachers, Researchers and Non-Teaching Employees of ISEG, School
I have just signed the Order appointing the Electoral Commission, a copy of which I enclose, which will supervise the electoral process that is only now getting underway, and which is composed of two representatives of teaching and research staff, one representative of students and one of non-teaching staff.
I will soon publish the Electoral Regulation and from that date the exact steps and dates for the electoral act leading to the election of the School Council, the Scientific Council and the Pedagogical Council will be known.
The delay in this process that is now beginning was due to the lengthy process of revision and approval of the new statutes of ISEG, which in turn resulted from the publication of the statutes of the new University of Lisbon.
I also take the liberty of forwarding to you both the new statutes of the University and the new statutes of the ISEG.
I call on everyone to participate in the electoral process so that the newly elected bodies can express the vision and will of a broad majority of participants in the life of the School.
