Report | Conference - China as Portugal's Strategic Partner

On February 18th, ISEG hosted the Conference China as Portugal's Strategic Partnerorganized by ISEG's Centre for Management Studies (CEGE/ISEG).

The conference was attended by Professor Rosa Borges (Vice-President of ISEG), Dr. Xu Weili (Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China), Professor Eduardo Catroga (lecturer at ISEG and Chairman of the General and Supervisory Board of EDP), Dr. Henrique Ribeiro (Assistant to the Secretary of State for Internationalization), Dr. Hélder Luz (Chairman of Quiznumérico), Dr. Isabel Amarela (Specialist and Consultant in Protocol, Corporate Image and Intercultural Communication), Dr. Fernanda Costa Ilhéu (President of EDELUC and Vice-President of CCILC), Dr. Fernando Costa Freire (President of EDELUC and Vice-President of CCILC). Isabel Amaral (Specialist and Consultant in Protocol, Corporate Image and Intercultural Communication), Dr. Fernando Costa Freire (President of EDELUC and Vice-President of CCILC), Professor Fernanda Ilhéu (lecturer at ISEG and Coordinator of ChinaLogus), Eng. Luís Albergaria (Former student of the ISEG course in Chinese Language and Culture in Business Dynamics) and Dr. Alberto Neto (President of AJEPC).    


During the event, a protocol between ISEG and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Portugal (AJEPC) for a prize for the best student on the Chinese Language, Culture and Business Dynamics Course for Entrepreneurs and Managers in China, organized by CEGE in partnership with the Portuguese-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIL_C). This prize consists of a trip to China, which includes accompanying the AJEPC to a fair or mission organized by the aforementioned entity.
