Open until May 31stapplications for the Mário Quartin Graça Scientific Prize 2016, set up by Casa de América Latina and Banco Santander Totta.

The prize is divided into the categories of Social and Human Sciences, Technologies and Natural Sciences and Economic and Business Sciences, and will award 5,000 euros to the winner of each of the three categories.

The Mário Quartin Graça Scientific Prize honors doctoral theses carried out at universities in Portugal or Latin America, by Portuguese or Latin American researchers, and is intended for work approved up to three years before the deadline for applications.
