ISEG's confidence index for January regarding the development of Portuguese economic activity in the short term was 31.4, which corresponds to a stabilization of the Panel's confidence index in the development of the economic situation compared to the value of the index for December 2016, which was also 31.4. The Panel members' consensus on economic developments has decreased.
