Death of Professor Carlos Barros

It is with deep regret that the Presidency informs the School of the death of our colleague and friend Carlos Barros. 

Graduated, Master and PhD in Economics from ISEG, where he was a professor in the Department of Economics for more than 30 years, having stood out for the publication of more than a hundred and a half scientific articles, which makes him, to date, the ISEG professor with the highest number of publications. In this field, it is worth highlighting the joint work with other colleagues from our School, thus marking the research path of many colleagues and contributing decisively to the positioning of ISEG in the world of economics.  rankings  research. 

The body of Professor Carlos Barros will be in the mortuary chapels of the Jerónimos Monastery, from 12.00 pm this Monday and the funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, beginning with a mass of present body, in the Jerónimos Monastery, at 14.30 pm.
