MAEG PhD student awarded at the XI World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association
Luís Silveira Santos, a student in the MAEG PhD program and guest assistant in the Mathematics Department, won the "Young Researcher Paper Competition" at the XI World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association 2017 ( https://economics.smu.edu.sg/sea2017), held in Singapore from June 13 to 15.
The award distinguished the article "The inversion of the spatial lag operator in nonlinear models: fast computation and a closed formula approximation", which will be included in the MAEG doctoral thesis that Luís Santos is working on under the supervision of Prof. Isabel Proença.
