The Order of Certified Accountants has recognized, for the purposes of the academic qualifications required for registration as a Certified Accountant, the degree courses in Management, Economics, Economics, MAEG, and Finance combined with the Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation and Corporate Finance.
Thus, ISEG students who have completed one of the above-mentioned bachelor's degrees and the master's degree in Accounting, Taxation and Corporate Finance meet the academic competencies published in Announcement no. 6060/2010, published in the Diário da República on June 30. The list of curricular units that students will have to attend is available from the ISEG Undergraduate and Master's Degrees Secretariat.
With this accreditation, ISEG joins a restricted list of Portuguese university institutions that have their courses recognized by the Order of Certified Accountants, a body that has more than 75,000 members and is the largest compulsory professional institution in Portugal. On the other hand, this accreditation contributes to maintaining ISEG's historical legacy in training professionals of high technical competence in the areas of Accounting, Taxation and Corporate Finance.
