At ISEG, "helping is customary"!
Yesterday afternoon, for the third consecutive year, another Solidarity Praxe took place, organized by the ISEG + Solidarity, AE ISEG and ISEG hazing committeein partnership with the Estrela Parish Council.
Arriving at university is often a headache for many new students who are anxious about the usual integration rituals. In order to demystify these issues and, at the same time, demonstrate the excellent spirit that exists among ISEG students, once again, for the third year running, our students proved that at ISEG, "helping is the norm".
The new students helped to restore a nursery school that was showing obvious signs of disrepair by cleaning various outdoor spaces and painting the walls, thus contributing to a significant improvement in the nursery's conditions. In addition, they provided various moments of entertainment for the children, from plays to songs. They also helped to clean the house of a needy family.
An afternoon of solidarity, different from the usual, where our students volunteer and grow on a personal level.
Another year in which, at ISEG, "helping is the norm!"
