ISEG marks presence at the University of São Paulo, Brazil

ISEG was present in the " XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar - Internationalization of Companies "which took place on November 7th at USP - University of São Paulo, Brazil.

Organized 14 years ago by ISEG and the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, the XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar served as a pre-event of the " SemeAD - XX Seminars in Administration PPGA/FEA/USP - Knowledge Transfer Management University - Company"which took place at the University of São Paulo from November 8 to 10.

ISEG was represented by professor Manuel Mira Godinho (vice-president of ISEG, president of the Scientific Council and keynote speaker of the event), professor Joaquim Ramos Silva (president of the Economics Department and organizer of the event) and Filomena Ferreira (adviser to the presidency for Public and International Relations and organizer of the event).

During the XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar, Professor Manuel Mira Godinho delivered the keynote lecture "Knowledge Management within the University-Company Relationship: is there something new?", and was invited to participate in SemeAd, also as a keynote speaker, to talk about the "Determinants of the scientific impact of nations".

Professor Joaquim Ramos Silva spoke about "Microfounding Dynamic Capabilities through the lens of strategy as practice", the result of a joint research with UNIVALI - Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, Brazil.
