The Visible and Invisible Dimension of the Social Economy in Portugal ", organized by SOCIUS/CSG - Research Centre for Economic and Organizational Sociology of ISEG.
The course will last 12 hours and will take place at ISEG, between January and February 2018, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 18h30 to 20h30.
Goals
To make known the formal and practical dimension of a sector constitutionally provided for but little known in legal and statistical terms, which corresponds to the "cooperative and social sector", as described in the Constitution, and which has in the scientific literature very diverse and multiple designations such as Social Economy, Third Sector, Third System, Alternative Economy and other designations afins. Present its statistical reality in 2010 and 2013 in Portugal, based on information taken from the Portuguese National Accounts and disclosed by INE and CASES in the Satellite Accounts of the Social Economy of 2010 and 2013.
Recipients
All people interested in learning more about one of the three sectors provided for in the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic as also owning the means of production, this sector being called the "cooperative and social sector", or the Social Economy sector.
The training is also intended for all people who in some way work and act, directly or indirectly, with and in entities that are part of this sector, according to the Basic Law of the Social Economy, Law No. 30/2013, of May 8, and which are: cooperatives; mutual associations; mercies; foundations; IPSS; associations with altruistic purposes; entities in the community and self-management subsectors.
Certification
All participants who complete the Training will be issued a Certificate by SOCIUS/ISEG-ULisboa.
