ISEG students participate in the XI National Start Up Programme Competition

A Junior Achievement Portugal presents on May 30that the D. Pedro IV Foundation, the 15 finalist mini-companies, created by young university entrepreneurs, which will compete in the 11th edition of the Start Up Program National Competition.

ISEG will be represented in this competition with two teams (BarMe and ChargeIn).


The JA Start Up Program gives post-secondary students aged 19-30 the opportunity to experience running their own company, giving them an insight into how their skills can be used to develop a business. By taking part in the Start Up Program, they experience the real world of business: developing a concept, an investment proposal and a business plan, and taking responsibility for the management of the company to the shareholders. Throughout the program they have the support and advice of volunteers and business consultants.
