Between May 28 and June 1, 2018, Portugal was once again represented at NAFSA, which this year took place in Philadelphia (United States). For the first time, ISEG took part in this Fair/Conference.
The NAFSA Fair/Conference is the largest international gathering of those responsible for the internationalization of higher education and research institutions, and attracts more than 10,000 visitors from all over the world every year.
In the pavilion
Study & Research in Portugal Ten institutions took part - Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, Universidade do Porto, Universidade de Coimbra, ISCTE-IUL - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Universidade Lusíada, ISG - Business and Economics School, NOVA School of Business and Economics and Câmara Municipal de Lisboa - Study in Lisbon, accompanied by the Directorate-General for Higher Education and the Fulbright Commission.
The Study and Research in Portugal Pavilion at NAFSA was visited by the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Professor Maria Fernanda Rollo. The Secretary of State was also the keynote speaker at the Portugal/USA Higher Education and Science Forum that the Fulbright Commission and the Portuguese Embassy in the USA organized in Washington DC on June 1, the first day of "Portugal Month in the USA", an initiative of the Portuguese Embassy in Washington.
ISEG was represented by the Vice-President, Professor Maria Rosa Borges and the Coordinator of the International Mobility Office, Dr. Rita Jordão.
