Lisbon, February 17, 2021

ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management surprises with a bold brand identity, developed in partnership with brand strategy and innovation consultancy Saint Pirate and production company El Hey.

In the year it celebrates 110 years of history, ISEG's visual identity reflects its modernity. The first school of economics and management in the country reaffirms its brand of rigor, pluralism, humanism and vanguard of thought and innovation.

The visual identity change also inaugurates the new signature "Open Minds. Grab the Future.", which reflects the positioning of the ISEG brand and will be the central theme of an institutional campaign to be launched in the first quarter of 2021.

"All the positive energy felt today at ISEG had to be reflected in our image. This visual identity projects us forward, upwards, facing the future," explains Clara Raposo, ISEG's president. "With a simple and elegant design, it represents what ISEG is in the world of economics and management: the rigor of mathematics and technology in the geometry of the form, the pluralism in its asymmetry, the freedom of the letters that go beyond the form, the social and environmental awareness in an arterial blood red, full of oxygen as the planet requires, and the humanism of a beating heart," she adds. "In ISEG's image, we start from a very rich past to a future that we want to be bigger, where a house, a rocket, a heart or a open mind. It reflects our spirit of inclusiveness and balance and our conviviality with the arts and creativity, which are indispensable elements for new generations of managers and economists."

The new image is the result of several months' work, which began with diagnosis and strategic reflection, involving dozens of stakeholders internal and external, and will be evident in all communication (online), , and offline of the School, as well as on campus signage.
