The
2nd National Meeting on Social Responsibility and Higher Education, an initiative of the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education and Forum Estudante, will take place on the next day.
February 15, 2018, between 10am and 5pm, at Teatro Thalia, in Lisbon.
This event aims to present and discuss the Green Paper on Social Responsibility and Higher Education Institutions, carried out during 2017 by the members of the Observatory on Social Responsibility and Higher Education Institutions (ORSIES).
ORSIES objectives:
- Strengthen the civic awareness and action of the educational community of Higher Education Institutions;
- To develop common, shared actions with a strong social impact of Social Responsibility in Higher Education Institutions;
- Sharing methodologies, tools and good practices;
- Develop action-research initiatives on Social Responsibility that add value through knowledge;
- Mobilize other stakeholders in the community, nationally and locally to cooperate with Higher Education Institutions for Social Responsibility.
