Applications for the FCT Call for PhD Scholarships 2019 until March 28, 2019

Thus, on March 7, at 3 p.m., there will be a session in Amphitheatre 1 to publicize the scholarship competition, open to all ISEG students.

 

TENDER DOCUMENTS

 

Applications must be submitted electronically using the form available at  tender portal scholarships.

Applications are submitted electronically at grant competition portal.

The evaluation of applications takes into account three criteria:
i) merit of the candidate (40%);
ii) merit of the work program (40%);
iii) merit of the reception conditions (20%).

Advisors must be associated with their students' applications during the competition period.

Applicants are required to submit a letter of motivation and two letters of recommendation.

Candidates must add their Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the platform CIÊNCIAVITAE or FCT-SIG duly updated (in this edition of the competition, the CV from the DeGóis platform can no longer be used).

 

Certificates of academic qualifications must be submitted at the time the grant is awarded for the purposes of the contract.

To apply the scores set out in Table 1 of the Evaluation Guide it is necessary to submit, when applyingacademic degree certificates specifying the final classification obtained and if they are  foreign degrees with the conversion of classifications to the Portuguese scale (see Table 1, page 5 and Evaluation Guide, page 10).

 

To apply the scores set out in Table 1 of the Evaluation Guide it is mandatory to submit, in applicationthe following documents:

a) Academic degree certificates, specifying the final classification and, preferably, the classifications obtained in all the subjects taken. For "post-Bologna" courses, you must present your 1st and 2nd cycle certificates or, if it is not a two-year course, your integrated master's certificate. For "pre-Bologna" courses, you must present your bachelor's and master's degree certificates.


b) In the case of academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions, and in order to guarantee the application of the principle of equal treatment for candidates who hold foreign and national academic degrees, it is mandatory to recognize these degrees and convert the final classification obtained in them to the Portuguese classification scale.
