On the 12th October, ISEG will host the Ibero-American Duo. The duo composed of singer Florencia Ribero and guitarist João Vasco Ferreira will take to the stage as part of Antena 2's concert cycle, recorded live at ISEG.
The concert starts at 19.00, in the CGD Auditorium (Quelhas, 2nd Floor).
Duo Ibero-Americano is a captivating guitar and voice duo that bridges the cultures of Portugal, Spain and South America. Their heartfelt renditions transport listeners to sunny squares, soulful fado houses and vibrant streets, capturing the essence of each culture. The Ibero-American Duo's performances create an intimate atmosphere, where their captivating voices intertwine with evocative melodies. Their music serves as a reminder of the universal language that unites these seemingly disparate traditions. By seamlessly blending classical and popular genres, the duo reveals the inherent harmony and interconnectedness of these musical landscapes.
The duo will perform songs by Frederico García Lorca, Moreno Torroba, Joaquín Rodrigo, Carlos Guastavino, Andre Santos, Zeca Afonso and Astor Piazzola.
