CAMERATA IVOTI

Camerata Ivoti was created in 1994 and is one of the four orchestras of the music education program developed by the Ivoti Education Institute in partnership with the Ivoti Pro-Culture and Art Association (ASCARTE). Dedication and love for music bring the group together around objectives ranging from technical and artistic improvement to the development of a critical awareness of the cultural reality of the region and the country.

Camerata Ivoti, which performs regularly in the Vale do Sinos and Greater Porto Alegre, has already made tours with the project's Youth Choir through the states of the South and Southeast regions of Brazil. In January and February 2014 it made its fifth tour of Europe. In 33 days of travel he performed 25 concerts and presentations in Portugal, Holland, France and Germany. In September of the same year, he participated in the "Ivoti 50 Years Concert" at Teatro Feevale in Novo Hamburgo, the largest theater in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. In September 2015 he toured to Corrientes and Resistencia - Argentina.

Since it was formed, the group has been under the coordination of Professor Irving Feldens. For this specific program it had the invaluable collaboration of professors Fredy Gerling and Hella Johanna Frank (UFRGS) who worked with the group sporadically throughout 2015.
