The Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School, named after the club's founder, has been teaching jazz since the 1970s, seeking to emphasize the practical component of this musical language. With this goal, the Combo discipline is part of the school's curriculum. Combo classes allow students to develop skills in ensemble work and improvisation, as well as to acquire practice in public performance.
