On May 28th, ISEG will host the
conference "
Blockchain in the financial sector", at 6:30 p.m., in Auditorium 5 (Ed. Novo Quelhas).
This is one of the sessions of the
Academic Roadshow promoted by
Portuguese Blockchain Allianceof which ISEG is a member, in order to launch the debate on the
the impact of the Blockchain concept and technology on the financial sectorand to promote the
Challenges launched by the Alliance's partners.
The
Blockchain has announced itself as a highly disruptive technology that is following a path of accelerated diffusion in multiple sectors of the economy. Its effects on the financial sector could unpredictably call into question the main
playersand changing the rules of the game. Attending this seminar at ISEG will be a privilege for both students and professionals in these areas, who will be able to gain a unique insight into the changes that are taking place.
