The Interdisciplinary Thematic Network of MAR (redeMAR) of the University of Lisbon starts a new modality for the monthly Conferences, which in 2017 will be based on the theme
"Sea and Future(s)"
The opening session of this Cycle will address
"Ocean Engineering and the Development of the Marine Economy"The meeting will take place on February 8, 2017, at 15:30, at Instituto Superior Técnico, Room VA5 of the Civil Pavilion.
This session will bring together
António Pascoal (IST, UL),
Ruben Eiras (M.M.) and
Fatima Montemor (IST, UL) in a dialog environment moderated by
Amílcar Soares (IST, UL). In the participatory debate, guests will be encouraged to exchange knowledge, academic discussion and strengthen the interconnections between scientific and technological knowledge.
