ISEG's Cultural Commission is pleased to announce the next ISEG's Painting Atelier Exhibition, which is the responsibility of Anabela Mota.
Congratulations to all involved for the work developed over the last 12 years.
The Painting Workshop is intended for the entire ISEGian community and beyond, its value proposition being the learning and exploration of basic painting techniques, using different materials and supports, starting with exercises that allow gradual progress, as well as an approach to composition, drawing, and colour. Recognition line/dye/texture.
The next exhibition of the painting workshop will be inaugurated on the 6th July, at 18.00, in ISEG's cloisters ISEG, and will remain open until the 27th July.
About Anabela Mota:
Anabela Mota has a Masters in painting from FBAUL. Besides the @atelier.aberto painting workshop, she also organises ceramics workshops @ peças.de.toque.ceramica.
It belongs to the humorliquid collective.
She exhibits regularly at the Museu do Oriente, Museu Carlos dos Reis, Jardim Calouste Gulbenkian, Galeria Occupart, Galeria na Montra, and the Maxila Space Gallery in London, among others and she is responsible for several curatorial projects for various exhibitions.
From an artistic point of view, she is interested in addressing the importance and awareness of look as a means to access multiple realities and a certain quality of time, questioning the fragility and mystery present in the reality of concrete things, the difference between a certain familiar look to see and inhabited look by consciousness - an inner movement that has the gift of impressing reality.
